It Started At Home

"I wanted a fireplace wall that didn't exist anywhere I could buy it — so I built it myself."

My neighbours saw it. Then their friends saw it. Then their friends called. What started as a passion project became a business built entirely on word of mouth and the belief that every home deserves craftsmanship that lasts.

Today, Custom Cabinetry By Mark works across the Phoenix metro — from complete kitchen builds to sacred prayer cabinets, from ADA-compliant commercial spaces to custom doors that don't exist in any catalogue. Every project starts with listening. Every project ends with something you can't buy anywhere else.

The Blue Tape Design Method

Before any wood is cut, we map your project directly on your wall using blue tape. You'll see exactly where every cabinet, shelf, and feature will go — at full scale, in your actual space.

We Listen First

Every project begins with understanding what you actually need — not what we assume. We ask questions most contractors don't think to ask.

When this family first called, they needed a Puja Mandir — a traditional Hindu prayer cabinet — something Mark had never built before. He said yes, studied the tradition carefully, collaborated closely with the family, and delivered something sacred and beautiful. They've called back six times since. Every custom range hood starts as a sketch and a sheet of plywood. Curved faces are shaped by hand. Moulding profiles are layered and mitered. The finished piece is painted in our spray booth and delivered as a single unit — ready to become the focal point of your kitchen.

When a physiotherapy practice needed four patient consultation rooms built — with a one-week deadline and work only possible after the clinic closed at 4:30pm — we said yes. We brought in help, worked late into the night, and delivered fully finished rooms on time and on brand.
